Cleaning the bed of the Tiganca river

The overflowing of the "Tiganca" river following heavy rains flooded the streets of Alcedar, Haiduc Bujor, Arionesti, Colonita in the summer of 2020.

Thus, following a partnership with an economic agent, work was carried out to clean the bed of the river "Tiganca".

Work was carried out for 64 hours, over a length of about 950 meters. Initially, the access roads for trucks were prepared, then the riverbed was widened to 2 meters, deepened by 0.7 - 1.3 meters, and about 125 cubic meters of silt were removed.

At the end of these works, all the adjacent territory was sanitized with the evacuation of debris such as branches, plastic, prunus, etc.

Partnerships with economic agencies are very important in the realization of projects for the community, because they imply a collaborative approach and a contribution of the private sector in the development of the Capital.
