Description

Underground at South Auto Station, str. Hîncești 143, sector Centru, has been repaired.

People were putting their lives at risk crossing the multi-lane road in both directions between cars because the underground was unhealthy, with damaged stairs and no lighting.

Now, Chisinau residents can enjoy decent conditions to cross the passage safely.

This project is an important rehabilitation and modernisation action that will benefit the city's residents and visitors.

The works planned in the project include:

- repairing all entrances/exits
- repairing the exterior and interior walls
- repairing the ceiling
- carrying out waterproofing works
- repairing the lighting system
- installing video surveillance cameras.

Also, the waiting stations were replaced and street furniture was installed around the passage.

The works were carried out in partnership with an economic agent.
