TL "George Meniuc", energy efficient

In January 2023, the works were completed, which aimed to create better study conditions for students and teachers, but also to reduce the cost of energy bills, thanks to the use of solar energy.

Dozens of solar panels have been installed on the roofs of the high school, and the building is thermally insulated to international standards. The municipal investment in this work was about 28.7 million lei.

The rehabilitation of buildings such as the "George Meniuc" Lyceum takes place within the framework of the project "Energy efficiency and thermal rehabilitation of buildings in the municipality of Chisinau", implemented by the Chisinau City Hall with the support of the EBRD, EIB and the ESP Energy Fund.

The budget allocated to the project is 27 750 000 lei.
