Control and direction of public lighting

8.6 million lei worth of street lighting control and directional equipment has been purchased and installed in the last two years at power points across the city.

The 340 new control blocks are automatically controlled and make the company's work more efficient:

- strict adherence to the switch-on schedule;

- the absence of the human factor when the system is operating in automatic mode;

- the availability of information feedback on the activation of the requested mode, which makes it possible to reduce the dispatcher's response time to о emergency situation;

- remote control of the operating modes, which makes it possible to exclude trips associated with checking the lighting on and off;

- the ability to set individual switch-on schedules for regions, with optimally selected time shifts;

- remote technical metering of energy consumption, allowing reduction of working time and transport costs required when making detours to take readings;

- the ability to detect changes in energy consumption, allowing rapid identification of unauthorized connections.

At the same time, the upgrade of the lighting monitoring system ensures an optimal and stable level of lighting in compliance with applicable standards and reduces operational costs, increases the reliability and efficiency of the outdoor lighting network and significantly improves energy efficiency indicators.
