Photovoltaic panels at kindergartens

From 2021, 13 high schools and 5 kindergartens in the capital will benefit from photovoltaic power plants.

This was made possible thanks to the municipal project "Eficienta energetica si reabilitarea termica a institutiilor educationale din municipiul Chisinau", launched with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the E5P Energy Fund.

The photovoltaic panels in the 18 beneficiary institutions are in operation and energy consumption is monitored remotely by the company contracted to maintain the service, as well as by engineers from the General Directorate for Education, Youth and Sport.

The total investment for these institutions is 12.8 million euro.
