Kindergarten 225, energy efficiency

Kindergarten-Nursery No. 225 in the Ciocana sector of the capital now benefits from a modernized energy system, following the major renovation that began in April 2021.

The project “Energy Efficiency Measures for the Building of IET No. 225, 14/2 Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd., Chișinău” was financed by the development partners of the Chișinău City Hall — EBRD, EIB, and the E5P Energy Fund.
Through this project, the Chișinău City Hall has managed to provide energy efficiency and major rehabilitation to 14 high schools, the largest municipal hospitals, and several kindergartens, including “Spicușor”: facade renovation, window replacement, roof replacement, network modernization, and many other works.

All these measures have led to remarkable results in terms of energy savings, comfort, and safety.
The investment for these works amounted to approximately 12,268,000 lei.

Additionally, the Chișinău City Hall, together with senior officials and representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), unveiled two murals on the walls of the “Spicușor” Kindergarten in the Ciocana sector — the largest kindergarten in Chișinău and in the country.
