Capital repair of Tighina Street

The entire length of the 1.6 km long Tighina Street has undergone extensive repairs, including the complete renovation of sidewalks, the modernization of street lighting, the improvement of the rainwater drainage system, and the establishment of parking spaces.

Tighina Street underwent capital repair at the end of March 2022.

Currently, work is underway to apply road markings with two-component material, install road signs, and create green spaces.

The capital repair works on Tighina Street were carried out by the Chisinau City Hall as part of Package II of the "Rehabilitation of Central Streets and Modernization of Public Lighting in the City Center of Chisinau" project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the EBRD Special Green Energy Fund.

The value of the works on Tighina Street is 2,9 million EUR.
