Capital repair of Alexandru cel Bun Street

The works on Alexandru cel Bun Street, with a length of 2.18 km, are part of the project "Rehabilitation of central streets and modernization of public lighting in the centre of Chisinau municipality"/„Reabilitarea strazilor centrale si modernizarea iluminatului public al centrului municipiului Chisinau” , Package II, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD), the European Investment Bank (BEI) and the BERD Special Green Energy Fund.

The road section is being completely repaired, including the first layer of the road structure, the pavements and the public lighting, and street parking spaces are being created. The work is 60% complete.

Previously, the street has undergone lengthy rehabilitation work on the underground water and sewerage networks, along with the other streets in the project, with funding provided by the municipality's contribution.
