Gymnasium No. 3, energy efficiency

The building of the boarding school no. 3 was thermally rehabilitated by the Chisinau City Hall with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD) and the European Investment Bank (BEI) within the project „Eficienta energetică ai izolare termica a cladirilor publice din municipiul Chisinau”.

Work carried out:

- Reinforcement of the building structure;
- Thermal insulation of walls and roof;
- Replacement of windows and doors;
- Rehabilitation of indoor heating networks;
- Installation of ventilation systems;
- Installation of energy management systems and LED lighting;
- Installation of photovoltaic panels;
- Other non-energy efficiency measures.

The work carried out will considerably reduce energy consumption and costs, improve the quality of services and reduce harmful emissions in the capital.

The allocated budget is about 14 400 000 lei.
