The clock on the Arc de Triumph

The most important clock of the country, located on the symbol of Chisinau, which is under the management of the M.E. "Autosalubritate", has acquired - first "voice", then - an even more intense voice, thanks to the acquisition of sound equipment installed on the clock on the Triumphal Arch.

The "voice" of the clock will be heard in the perimeter of the Great National Assembly Square, as well as in the Cathedral Square, which was promised and successfully achieved for the inhabitants and guests of the capital.

It is worth mentioning that the clock has not had such an intense sound since independence. This, could be achieved by installing horn loudspeakers that have a high intelligibility of the sound reproduced with low distortion, as well as a condenser microphone - both made in Italy.

We recall that last year with the support of the municipality, the M.E."Autosalubritate" repaired the worn part responsible for the sound, being replaced with a new one that was made according to the old drawings, from a specific metal plate. Thanks to the intervention of the M.E. ”Autosalubritate”, the sound of the clock has been put into operation, having been out of order since the summer of 2021.

The total amount of the contracted installation was 115 140 lei.
