Modernization of libraries

In the last four years, the Chisinau City Hall has allocated more than 10 million lei for the modernization of municipal libraries.

Thus, in the 28 branches of the "B.P.Hasdeu" Municipal Library, repair works have been carried out, furniture has been purchased, the book collection has been completed, as well as the technical-material base with equipment.

Only for the completion of the book collection, more than 4 million lei have been allocated. Here all the networks were replaced, the plaster was renewed and new furniture was purchased.

At the Central Branch of the Municipal Library "B.P. Hasdeu", water and sewage pipes were repaired and services for the elaboration of a feasibility study were purchased.

The windows, the entrance door and the sanitary blocks have been repaired at the Jewish Library "Itic Mangher", on Eugen Doga Street, no. 4.

The Library of Polish Culture and Literature "Adam Mickiewicz" and the Library "Targoviste" have been repaired the access ways and the roof of the Library "Transilvania" has been repaired.

At the "L. Ucrainca" Library, 171 Columna Street, the threshold and facade were repaired, and at the "Tudor Arghezi" Library, 21 Gradinilor Street, the PVC constructions were installed, and the project for the execution of the building repair works was purchased.
