Municipal Youth Forum brings together active young people from Chișinău, representatives of local authorities, student and pupil councils, youth organizations, and international guests, for an open dialogue on key themes such as education, civic engagement, European opportunities, and local development.
The forum is an annual platform for communication between youth and Chișinău City Hall, where results and youth-focused policies are presented, along with future development directions.
In recent years, youth policy in Chișinău has seen historic progress:
The youth budget has increased 30-fold — from 200,000 MDL in 2019 to 60 million MDL in 2025.
A municipal grant program has been established for youth organizations, initiative groups, school and university councils.
New co-financing schemes and youth start-up programs have been launched, along with the first municipal youth business incubator.
The mobile app “e-tineret” and the national volunteer platform “e-voluntar.md” were launched.
Five modern Youth Centers were opened in every sector of the Capital, and the network was extended to suburban areas.
The first Youth Strategy for Chișinău was approved.
A mobile youth outreach team was created and equipped with its own vehicle to reach young people directly in communities.
Chișinău is shaping up as a city for young people — a city that invests in the future by supporting initiative, engagement, and the full potential of its youth.
