Rascani | Waste management
The Chisinau Municipality is investing considerable budgetary resources in the field of waste management. In recent years, major investments have been made to modernize the landfill in the village of Țînțăreni, construct a leachate treatment plant, purchase special vehicles and waste containers, and procure and install modular waste platforms. Additionally, a contract has been signed with the company "ABS Recycling," which ensures the recycling of waste collected from the city. A priority for the municipality is also the conservation of the temporary landfill in the Ciocana district, a project carried out and supported together with development partners.
