Chisinau City Hall has increased allocations each year for youth programs from 2 million lei in 2019 - to 60 million lei in 2023 - 30 times more than four years ago. The municipality has invested in infrastructure for youth development and socialization. Programs have been initiated to support and fund talented young people, or youth organizations. In 2023 alone, the municipality will carry out more than 50 programs for young people, including the creation of the Municipal Youth Agency and the approval of the Youth Strategy of Chisinau municipality.


YOUTH PROGRAMS In recent years, the Chișinău City Hall has developed a complete network of infrastructure and programs for young people, making this field a priority. Read more Youth Center Activity Program Youth Centers in Chisinau are spaces where young people aged between 14 and 35 have access to free opportunities for personal development, leisure activities, volunteering, career guidance, psychological counseling, and other activities they can enjoy at the Centers. Read more YMCA Community Resource and Development Center The YMCA Community Resource and Development Center in Chișinău will offer youth development programs through the implementation of various national and international seminars and collaborations. Read more START-UP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND MIGRANTS Sixteen beneficiaries of the municipal pilot program "START-UP for YOUNG PEOPLE AND MIGRANTS," eligible to receive funding from the Chișinău City Hall for business development, have received their grant certificates. Youth Centers in all sectors Within the framework of the Municipal Assistance Programme for Youth Centres and Youth Councils, a Youth Centre was inaugurated in 2022 in the Buiucani, Riscani and Centru districts. Read more Ciocana Municipal Youth Centre Petru Zadnipru 3/2, the Municipal Youth Centre in the Ciocana sector, opened in May 2019. Creation of Youth Centres in the suburbs The network of Youth Centres in Chisinau was expanded in 2022 with five centres in the suburbs of the capital. Municipal Youth Forum The Municipal Youth Forum is a communication platform between young people and the Chisinau City Hall.
